How do I change the dimensions of an embedded video?

You can edit the iframe code to suit your blog’s dimensions. For example, if your blog’s main column is 500 pixels wide, you would have to change the width and height numbers as described below.

<iframe src="http://www.nfb.ca/film/a_chairy_tale/embed/player" width="516" height="337">
<p><a href="http://www.nfb.ca/film/a_chairy_tale/" target="_blank"><em>A Chairy Tale</em></a> by <a href="http://www.nfb.ca/explore-all-directors/claude-jutra/" title="More films by Claude Jutra" target="_blank">Claude Jutra</a> & by <a href="http://www.nfb.ca/explore-all-directors/norman-mclaren/"title="More films by Norman McLaren" target="_blank">Norman McLaren</a>, <a href="http://www.nfb.ca" target="_blank">National Film Board of Canada</a></p>

500px is 97% of 516px, so the new height would need to be 97% of the old height (337),or 327px.

Your new embed code should look like this:

<iframe src="http://www.nfb.ca/film/a_chairy_tale/embed/player" width="500" height="327">
