NFB Education is a collection of educational resources developed by the NFB.   

Among the resources offered, you will find: 

• A rich collection of films, interactive productions, documentary and animation series; 

• Educational and thematic playlists; 

• Film playlists by school subject; 

• Study guides and educational film descriptions (available for some films only; you will find them under the EDUCATION section of a film page); 

• Mini-lessons; 

• Learning programs, such as  Media School and Ocean School; 

• NFB Blog;  

• NFB Education newsletter; 

• MARC 21 records; 

• Usage statistics (available upon request; contact us); 

• And more! 

From now on, educational content will be accessible at all times and to all users nationwide. Some resources, such as Media School and MARC 21 records, still require an nfb.ca account, but the account activation function has been removed to simplify access procedures.    

Please note that, despite unlimited access to nfb.ca content, classroom use still requires a paid licence.
