Why is part of the App in one language while the films are in another?

The main language of the App depends on the language of your device. Menu names and interface will be in your device’s language. You can however browse films in either French or English by changing the Content Language in the App settings.

Why can’t I download a film offline on the iOS NFB Films App?

Please make sure you keep the App open while downloading a film. Closing the App will cause the download to cancel itself. Please make sure as well that your internet connection is stable to avoid any interruptions. If you are still experiencing any issues, please contact us.

Why can’t I access my rentals on the NFB Films App anymore?

Following our last update, the option to connect yourself to an nfb.ca account has been removed, thus affecting accesses to rentals. We are however working to reintegrate this option for our future updates.
